The US is the only country to sentence juveniles to life without parole, sentencing them to die in prison. "Lynn" is serving juvenile life without parole in Louisiana. She was 16 at the time of her arrest and has been incarcerated for about 19 years now. I had the opportunity to meet her about one year ago. I hope one day this law is changed.
