This is an Edo Period samurais kaji Haori. Fire Dress. This is an extremely rare collectors item purchased in Hiroshima-Ken in the 1980s at an antique auction. This is part of my costume and textile collection that I have acquired over the last 30 years of collecting. It is made from a heavy weight cotton. It shows some wear and tear as should be expected from its age. There are some small holes in the fabric but overall its in very good condition. Please inspect the photographs closely…
