Island Chicken ~ Drain pineapple, reserving juice in a small bowl. Add soy sauce, vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes & mix well. Add chicken & cook. Add bell pepper & pineapple & cook. Pour in pineapple-soy mixture & cook until sauce comes to a boil. Serve with boiled or steamed rice.
Martha Stewart's LIGHT Sesame Chicken -- The sticky sauce is simple yet flavorful and comes together quickly by whisking honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger (my contribution) and sesame seeds together. It’s really just enough sauce to generously coat the chicken with very little extra. If you like a lot of sauce or would like some for your rice you can double it.
