This fireplace celebrates the arrival of spring by filling the mantel and hearth with texture and a mix of real and faux branches and greenery. From a basket overflowing with tulips to an urn filled with pussy willow branches, to a magnolia leaf wreath to an abundance of boxwood orbs, there's no doubt what season it is in this family room.
With the holidays coming up @rogue_engineer really wanted a mantel to doctorate and since they didn't have one they decided to build one. They built this faux fireplace surround out of one sheet of plywood, and it only cost about $75 to build. Now they have an awesome faux fireplace to decorate for the holidays and add some charm to the dining room. http://spr.ly/64968EqMe
