The greatest band I've ever heard came from a small industrial town in Scotland. A big guy and his petite girlfriend met up with a British bassist and began making some interesting Goth/New Wave music that'd make Siouxsie and the Banshees take notice. However, this was not their calling. Elizabeth Fraser's angelic vocals and Robin Guthrie's dreamy guitar work made for better ethereal dream-pop than anything else and the rest is history. Incredibly sexy and otherworldly.
