I think the best photo I have that sums up my feelings right now - Sunset on 5000 year old standing stones in Scotland - They put some perspective on us marking such brief moments BUT Remembering this place the beauty the moment surrounded by friends and fellow travelers- that is an infinite memory. Wishing You the happiest of New Years and hoping 2017 brings joy and many infinite memories!!

You all have said you are waiting to see more #northernlights - I have some awesome images coming but check out what was behind the show and where we could sit and warm up watch the lights - seriously amazing stuff. I know - don't doubt for one second that I don't know how damn lucky I am! Here you have the Yurt beautiful clear skies and some of the glow of #fairbanks off in the distance. Captured last night with the @Getolympus #em1markii and #7to14mm EXIF 7mm f/2.8 20 seconds ISO 1250…

Standing here at sunset listening to the buoy bell in the distance the chatter of other sunset watchers and photographers helping people up and down on the trickier rock sections - these moments are memories that will last all my years. #mckaylive Captured with the #Sony #a7rII and #Canon 24-70 using @nisifiltersglobal CPL filter.

I usually don't recommend photographing landscapes mid-day the light is harsh and washes out detail. However when mid-day light looks like this! shoot away! The sun never made it above the mountains soft light all day!!! Captured with the @getolympus #em1markii and 40-150 f/2.8 jpeg edited slightly. No raw support yet in Lightroom.
