Sponsored: I'm celebrating #HispanicHeritageMonth by making a dish that I've always wanted to make. After a trip to @northgateglzmrkt, I picked up everything I needed to make #pupusas. 2nd Grade: Mexican Banderitas 2nd grade artists learned about the art of paper cutting, papel picado and Banderitas made in Mexico. They made their own Banderitas out of tissue paper and scissors. This was a great one-day project for my students. We talked about symmetry when we opened our folded paper... students were amazed to see the beautiful designs!
