I chose this ad because of the way my eye moved. I may not have known what DHL was before this ad, but it made me look it up (it's express mail). We talked about having your eye follow the advertisement and I think this is a perfect example and very clever for print. This ad doesn't make you think. The bright colors also contrast the background so well it is very obvious to see what the point of attention is.
The challenge: Give people a reason to shop at (not just ship from) FedEx Kinko's. The solution: Promote customizable gifts by bringing the humor FEK usually reserved for its television ads into the store. Oh, and win the account in the process.
