Yojiya is a cosmetic company founded in Kyoto in 1904, and their flagship product is Aburatorigami: Traditional oil blotting paper. If you are visiting Kyoto, it is worth dropping by a Yojiya shop – particularly the one near Ginkakuji on Tetsugaku-no-michi, which has an old style garden and cafe. Yojiya cosmetics have a reputation for following traditional formulas. The aburatorigami also comes in flavors such as yuzu (citrus fruit) and macha (green tea).
