Pattern, like texture, is used to create visual interest. Unlike texture however, pattern does not invoke a tactile sense. Although textures can contain pattern-like elements, not all patterns are textures. Here patterns and variation are used to create interesting shapes with unity.
Can you see the chunks that make up a pattern here? You could probably do it several ways. This would take kids quite a while to figure out. Wallpaper is a great source of visual patterns that are repeated. It can be rather long repeats or short repeats. But, regardless, it is a bit of trip to figure out.
This super power image is by Tatiana Boyko, called Botanica on Behance. I love the red flowers with blue stems, its so bright and summery and genial. There is not much going on in this picture it is simple but creative. I like the way how the flower is layout from leaf it makes the flowers stand out. By the way i know the image it looks vintage but its unique i like it.
