The trimming on bodice and skirt is made with straight geometric strips of black velvet. Bodice has velvet covered black buttons. Skirt has a hidden pocket. The matching original jacket survived with the dress. This gown is fully lined in brown cotton. The hem is stiffened with wide woven horsehair band."
