(Love the pillow niche!) A custom wool rug and vinyl flooring brighten the basement playroom, where the pillow-filled niche was inspired by the shape of a front-loading clothes dryer. Design by Cherie Zucker; Photo by Eric Laignel.
I plan on having lots of kids, at least so if space is limited, I just love the idea of having a loft bed built into the eaves of the house with two single beds below. It leaves a lot of floor space too, so no need for a toy-room.
Lofted beds with walk-in closet underneath. Good when you're short on bedrooms for all of the kids. Loft beds and instead of a closet underneath, it could be the kids "rooms" for private and quiet time.
