I used this string of mini-Chinese lantern lights to make a new lamp. I bunched the string of lights up into a big ball and affixed it to an old lamp base that I painted creamy white.

1 of the things I'll never 4get about my grandmother in Baton Rouge (Big Mama, we called her), was her "repurposing" of fabric scraps.  She'd look @fabric scraps like some people look @clouds, figuring out what creatures they looked like. I remember this 1 baby's bib she made that had a prehistoric looking bright blue bird on it. 2 this day, that bird & that bib R forever seared into my brain's soft tissue.
