DIY WINDOW COVERINGS. Mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cold water. Then mix in 1/2 cup boiling water. Cool. Cut fabric 1/8 inch larger than window. Brush onto fabric with pastry or paint brush until soaked through. Apply fabric on window and use an old card to smooth out. Have a rag handy to wipe up excess paste. Dry overnight. As you can see from the picture on the right all you can see from outside is a slight glow. This project was so easy, it only took me a few minutes!
