Kue lumpur has a texture similar to pancake, tastes like in between pancake and custard with a hint of coconut flavor plus raisins. You can choose raisins for the topping, young coconut flesh or any of your favorite sweet toppings ).
RICA RICA is a one of typical dishes of Minahasan people who live in North Sulawesi. Many Indonesians also call them as Manadonese, refer to the capital city of North Sulawesi province. You can make this dish either with chicken or fish. Some of the important ingredients of this recipe is daun pandan or "Pandan leaf" and Kemangi /Indonesian Sweet Basil. Grandma Griffin’s Cornbread Recipe 1 ½ cups Quaker white cornmeal 3 Tbs enriched flour 1 Teas salt 1 Teas baking soda 2 Cups buttermilk 1 Egg 2 Tbs bacon drippings Sift dry ingredients into bowl. Add buttermilk and beaten egg. Stir until combined. Melt drippings and mix it into the batter. Pour the batter into a greased hot cast iron skillet. Bake at 450°for 20-25 minutes. Cut into 8 slices.
