Apologies for the creepy photos. I love looking at photos especially ones from the past. History fascinates me (except for history class I don't like history class all that well. weird I know). Again I found these interesting and wanted to archive them to look at again later.

Victorian photographic posing stand, used to help subjects stand still during long exposures. NOT used for post-mortem photos.  There is no way there is enough structure or means of support for the weight of a dead body.

So apparently if a mother died they would cover her face and take a picture of the child with her. Sorry if this is inaccurate sorry if got my facts wrong. That's what I heard. If I am please comment what actually happened. I am very interested.
