Roman Rapids at Busch Gardens in VA - I don't know why the pics on their site don't show the theming a bit better. BG is known for their beautiful scenery, from the realistic Roman and Greek statuary, to the flowers, to the German beer garden and old fashioned castle. You get WET on this ride! The Blue Hole, Santa Rosa, NM, USA. Fed by the same waters that run through Carlsbad Caverns, the Blue Hole stays warm year round. You can see clear to the bottom, 80 ft down. It's the only lake in the region deep enough that they use it for deep sea scuba qualification. On old Rt 66/I40 between Albuquerque and Ft Sumner.

Big Bone Lick State Park museum, Union, KY, USA - Open November 1 - March 31 by appointment only. The trails in the park are open all year though. Oddly, the campground is closed November 30 - March 1. So if you want to camp AND go to the museum, reserve your stay for November 1-29.
