Son's reading corner using brown vinyl rain gutters from Home Depot. He can see all the covers and reach each shelf himself. All for under $75. The end caps and corner pieces were the most expensive part of this project, but still less than the cost of a bookcase.

Don't Carpe Diem

Every time I'm out with my kids -- this seems to happen: An older woman stops us, puts her hand over her heart and says something like, "Oh, Enjoy every moment. This time goes by so fast."

Mark doesn't know it yet, but he's making this desk/art table/reading nook for Jordyn's room. I'm going to close in the bottom right and add a window seat/toy box to the right of the desk. Probably will add a little safety rail on the top too.
