I feel so blessed that I can spend my time doing what I LOVE to do. It has taken many years of a "regular" job and retirement to reach this time in my life. I also feel so blessed to find many folks who like my jewelry that they buy it...allowing me to buy more supplies and make more jewelry!! It just doesn't get any better than that!
My metal work is fresh. My stone bead and pearl necklaces have a blend of contemporary and traditional styling that my customers enjoy. I use good quality materials - both in metals, stones and pearls, and I pay attention to the details... that makes so much difference in the final look of a piece.
Like most artists, I have this need to create. I get unhappy if more than a day or two goes by without spending time in my studio. While I mostly design jewelry, I am also an avid knitter and crocheter. I love to draw and paint. Any thing that requires a creative mind and a slightly skewed attitude draws my attention.
Have always loved many sorts of crafts...but braiding and leatherwork, has always been one of my favorites. Being a true danish viking, I have always loved the nordic, Scandinavian culture and folklore.
I like to use color and humor in my art. I prefer to represent what I think is beautiful and what makes me happy. I know there is a place for Angst in Art, but I just don't seem to have that place in me.
We offer stylish dog & cat collars, collar accessories, leashes, harnesses, pet apparel and pet walking accessories. My products are handmade by me and other artisans for pets. Each item is made to order, so items like collars and leashes can be customized by adding your pet's name.
Specializing in easy to make flapper and crochet hat patterns, purses and slippers designed for comfort and chic fashion. All of my patterns are original designs. I work to stay true to my own personal creative process, and I believe it shows in the hat patterns I create.
I have been working in glass for over 17 years. Many of the things I do are of my own design, and I have won several awards. I have done panels for businesses, art galleries and for pleasure. I enjoy doing 3 dimensional pieces as well. You will find an array of choices in my store, as I enjoy doing various styles. In 2011 two of my panels were featured in Glass Patterns Magazine, a national glass magazine.
