Agates at the Oregon Coast - I am going to go agate hunting with my husband. Be sure to take a bucket and something to dig with if you want to find agates. Certain spots on the Oregon coast are famous for them...like Agate Beach, but you can find them in many places if you try. Tip: search the stream beds that feed into the ocean. P.S. the water's warmer in the streams, too!

Thor's Well- Oregon Coast Cape Perpetua is located about 2 miles (3 km) south of Yachats, Oregon along U.S. Route 101. It is a typical Pacific Northwest headland, forming a high steep bluff above the ocean. At its highest point, Cape Perpetua rises to over 800 feet (240 m) above sea level.
