This thatched rubble stone cottage was built in 1811 in a little place called Blaise Hamlet near Bristol, England.~Not only do I love the stone, but also the thatched roof and that curved bench, and oh the leaded windows too.
Fabulous garden shed: What a great place to steal a moment for yourself! Either as a craft spot ot a potting shed. or even just to sit with a glass of iced tea and a book. makes me want summer back. And I'm a "Winter" kind of girl!
I guess we are going to have a large backyard for the dream home. When I was a little girl I always wanted a play house like this. I would have this one at my dream home for my grand kids! would have died for this when I was little!
Detailed scrollwork on the porch of this playhouse/ potting shed/cottage-- brings a playful touch to the structure. Heart-shape cutouts in the shutters, a Dutch door with lace curtains, and a white wicker chair complement the casual country look.
