I saw the movie first, which is unusual for me. However, the movie was so good IMO, that I had to read the book. This book is also listed in the book "1000 Books you Should Read Before you Die"  - thus it must be good! In may move into my favorites list....  Atonement...amazing book and movie.

So I never read the book because it was sooo long, and I heard it was pretty slow, but I am a huge Keira Knightly fan, and James McAvoy is wonderful. Definitely a good movie! Also, Keira in that simple green gown is just breath taking!
