It likely dates...first quarter of the 19th century. The use of inlay, the extraordinarily tall legs, & the...cherry veneer of the drawer fronts separate this chest from those known makers. We are not aware of other shops producing turned leg, blocked furniture outside Kentucky but hesitate an attribution...
