This was a fun activity I created for thanksgiving... We used paper plates and I provided the kids with a "key" that they had to follow in order to make the pattern around the plate. ex. 8 orange, 6 yellow etc. Then to add the sensory component, the turkey is made from finger paint!!! They were so excited to bring it home! **PLUS picking out the little pieces of paper (because I mixed them all up) worked on not only fine motor but also vision and scanning!
