Bullet Journal key: I use squares (tasks), circles (events) and triangles (appointments). Fill in when complete, and half fill tasks (only) that are in progress/incomplete. Cross through cancelled items. Signifiers are as per bullet journal (important, deadline), and bullet for 'notes'. Migrated tasks are accompanied by the date and/or time it was migrated to (written in margins). I also write 'E' (email) and 'C' (call) for specific tasks instead of writing it out over and over again :)
