An absolutely fantastic, atmospheric mafia movie. With an interesting plot and narrative, this film takes you on a multi-decade journey through the life and times of some colorful characters. This film artfully explores the evolution of Italian culture, pride, self-destruction and the lengths at which people will go for self-preservation.
An Angel at My Table...Thought to be Schizophrenic, she was administered over 300 electric shock txs. However, she was not schizophrenic. Ms. Frame was a brilliant writer who suffered from severe social anxiety. She earned her teaching certificate but was too anxious and shy to talk in front of her class. Ms. Frame was heavily criticized by teachers when she was a child. This likely led to her anxiety. I can relate.
