School dress codes need to evolve. A female's back and shoulders should not be sexualized. It's ridiculous that she received detention for that dress Anne infuriating that she was suspended for the letter.

For my girls group, I had the middle school girls cut out their favorite lyrics from girl power songs and make collages. When they were done, some even added their own positive affirmations!  The songs I used were "Brave" by Sara Bareilles, "Roar" by Katy Perry, "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera, and "Who you are" by Jessie J.
