The Crawfords, or better known as the Craws, were a professional Negro League baseball team based in Pittsburgh from 1931 to 1940. The team was named after the Crawford Grill, which was a club in the Hill District. The Craws rostered some of the greatest players of the day, Satchel Paige, Josh Gibson, and Cool Papa Bell.
