Sir William Russell Flint was a Scottish artist who was known for his watercolor paintings. He was president of Britain’s Royal Society of Painters in Watercolors (now the Royal Watercolor Society) from 1936 to 1956, and knighted in 1947.

Alex Russell Flint (b 1974) is a British artist who produces beautifully crafted, soulful oil paintings. A realist painter, ARF divides his time between London and Argenton-Chateau in France, where he lives and works in the rambling former school house (l'ancienne école) he acquired in 2010.
