Ocean cleanup yields over 2 million cigarette butts

The Ocean Conservancy recently reported the removal of millions of pounds of garbage from beaches and oceans during their 2012 volunteer-based Internatinal Coastal Cleanup Day. The top item cleaned up: over 2 million cigarette butts. If you're interested in helping out, this year's cleanup day is September 21, 2013!
