Phlox (blue creeping). I simply adore phlox, and have used some of it for "my" sidewalk garden--people are trying to keep their dogs from using the sidewalk garden, which is nice!) AIM to plant phlox in a container, and have it melt over the side. :) Such a beautiful creeper.
I like Blue plumbago because it is a heavy bloomer, drought tolerant, not a nutrient hog, covers ugly chain link and walls in a snap, takes seriously heavy pruning, attracts all sorts of pollinators, and is BLUE. :) Mix with orange bougainvillea for something spectacularly pretty! <3 ~A.
God is the Author of beauty... and yet the 'beauty' we can comprehend is nothing compared to the beauty of God. heaven isn't spoken about very much in the bible - i've been told it's because we really don't have the capacity to comprehend it... heaven - God resides there, and with the broken hearted :)
• Full Pink Moon – April 25, 2013. This name came from the herb moss pink, or wild ground phlox, which is one of the earliest widespread flowers of the spring. Other names for this month’s celestial body include the Full Sprouting Grass Moon, the Egg Moon, and among coastal tribes the Full Fish Moon, because this was the time that the shad swam upstream to spawn.
