Garrabrant's Classroom: The Turtle Group

Ms. Maggie Mo's group collage project: student drew the leopard, which was enlarged on copier and traced onto poster board. Background was painted with acrylics, sponge painted leaves. Tree was cut from corrugated cardboard and collaged with wrinkled paper bags & painted with watercolors. Leopard was collaged with brown paper bags, then painted with a watercolor wash, sponged white paint, then students used pinkie fingers to apply spots. 18" x 24" finished size.
