a quote with the words successful mothers are not the ones that have never struggle
Happy Mothers Day to you all. This may not be the day you imagined. There may be grief around loss of a child, a mother or of being in isolation for your first mother's day. You may feel like you are failing at motherhood or that you will never get out of the dark place you find yourself in. Your feelings are valid and, you will get through them. If you would like to talk about them please get in touch. We are here to listen <3
a quote with the words if you wouldn't say it to a friend, don't say it to yourself
The inner voice of of a mum is often so harsh and tell you that you are doing a bad job, that everyone is judging you, that your kids will hate you, that you are useless and will never get through this. IT LIES! You are a great mum, your kids love you and you will get through this. You would never tell a friend they are being stupid and to get over it. Think of yourself as your best friend and be kind. For every critical thing your inner voice tells you, counter it with two kind things. Art c
