leuk als verjaardagskalender aan het begin van het schooljaar.Achtergrondblad is hélemaal gevuld met de naam van het kind. Daarop komt dan een een menstekening van het kind zelf.

If we get a transitional kindergarten: self portraits art project. Could modify for older kids by changing the text background to adjectives and words or sentences about the person.

Art project for Grade 3 and up. It is able to be done with the younger students... you just need more supervision. :) This is MY favourite Valentine's Day activity. You will need black pencil crayon and coloured felts. At the end, a little bit of tempera paint. Your students will have a self-portrait of themselves blowing hearts. The Wind of Love awakens. Valentine's Day .

Mixed Media Self Portrait. These were awesome. Little kids did the backgrounds, came up with words that described them and added it on top on canvas boards. Big wow factor for the parents. What an awesome idea!!

Relief activity. Quarter circles decorated by each student and then assembled as a mural.

Everyone gets a square with a quarter circle, this is the end result- could be a good ice breaker beginning of year activity. Each student decorates the square and includes their name. Nice way to decorate the bulletin boards in the beginning of the year!
