Christchurch Town Hall Pipe Organ

The Rieger pipe organ installed in the town hall in 1997 was silenced in 2011 after a devastating earthquake which all but levelled the city, killed 185 people. The quake closed the hall, although the organ did not sustain lasting or irreparable damage. Many of the pins initially loaded here will be video grabs which were able to show building progress way back in 1997, so are small and sometimes a bit indistinct.
