Corbans Cellar was built from 1903 to 1907. It is now the oldest industrial building in Henderson. The circular windows were sourced from demolition of Auckland's Town Hall but they have since been removed. Today the building is a cafe.

"Decorated" Ross Spence, QSO (2000), Fellow of New Zealand Winegrowers (2006). Ross (right) with brother Bill, produced New Zealand's first Sauvignon Blanc grapes in 1974. Ross and Bill founded Matua Valley Wines Ltd and Ross served for 23 years on the Wine Institute of New Zealand and chairman 1997-1999.
