Etouffee is a deliciously thick and saucy stew made with seafood or chicken and served with rice. This dish is a mainstay in homes and restaurants in Louisiana, and just like many dishes from that state, it has a Cajun and Creole version; the Creole version is red with the addition of tomatoes. Whichever version you go for, it's sure to be delicious. This shrimp and crab etouffee is an easy etouffee recipe you can try at home.
