Banana’s Foster Upside Down Puff Pastry
Banana’s Foster Upside Down Puff Pastry (recipe below) it includes all of the fixins — toasted pecans, 🍨 & a brown sugar-bourbon sauce! Brush parchment with butter, sprinkle with a generous amount of brown sugar & a smidgeon of cinnamon. Top with halved bananas. Cover with puff pastry. Using a fork press down the edges then stab the top of the pastry 5-6 times. Brush the top with egg wash & generously sprinkle with turbinado sugar. Bake at 400°F for 20-22 mins or until puff pastry is golden brown & cooked through. Allow to cool slightly, top with ice cream, drizzle with caramel (or brown sugar bourbon sauce) & finish with pecans.
