I'd probably continue the tile all the way up the wall behind the sink and cooktop. As it stands, the vent hood and shelves look a bit orphaned. But I do like the teal accent. It could go on sidewalls where there is less kitchen mess. I might also invert the cabinets and counters (crisp white counters with lighter wood cabinets). But I like the material palette here.
