Little Church in Yosemite - Stuck in Customs
Yosemite Valley Chapel - built in 1879 by those who recognized that the God who created our wonderful surroundings is even more incredible than His creation. Oldest of all structures in public use in Yosemite NP, this little New Eng. style church was built under sponsorship of Calif.State Sunday School Assn. partly by subscriptions from children, but mainly from voluntary contributions of prominent members of the Assn. "O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places" (Psalm 68:35).
A country chapel located outside Creswell, Oregon. There is also a 100 year old, one room schoolhouse and barn on the property. The buildings are connected by a woodsy path and open pasture areas. All the buildings are available for functions.

Sense of Place. “One of the monasteries in the region of Meteora in Central Greece. These huge monoliths are a very rare geological phenomenon. During the period between 11th and 14th century, on the top of these rocks, the Greek monks built 24 monasteries, in order to be protected from the bandits and pirates.” Photo #30 and “quoted” caption by © Karolos Trivizas/National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest
