#Steampunk spice rack ... I don't know if I could put "Steampunk" in quotation marks AND use it as a hash tag term, but if I knew I could have, I would have. This isn't really a steampunk thing. It's just soldered copper tubing, test tubes, and cork. But hey, I guess steampunk is in the eye of the beholder, sometimes. Clever idea, all the same. So, it gets honorable mention.

Desk made entirely from reclaimed materials. The gears were discarded from an old swing bridge in Milwaukee. Wood is salvaged from a 126-yr-old barn in Wisconsin. The materials patina and history are carefully maintained. Original nail holes, saw-tooth etchings and the imprints of brackets that held the barn frame together are enhanced by my process.
