Tui in a Kowhai Tree
The Tui is a NZ native and feeds on nectar amongst other things. Settlers called it the Parson Bird due to the white collar. This series is shot in Eastbourne, Wellington, where the Kowhai trees and thus the Tui are doing particularly well in the Spring.
