Kewpie roast potatoes
I just tried coating and roasting my roast potatoes in kewpie mayonnaise (you know, that delicious Japanese mayo you enjoy with your sushi)... and I’m not sure I’ll ever go back. Essentially, mayo is made of oil - so as it heats up, it melts and bastes the potato as it cooks. It also adds a slight tang thanks to the rice vinegar in it. Get ready for the tastiest, most golden spuds of your life!
