Naturally Dyed Play Dough
Perfect pastel colors and a natural scent! These are so beautiful! You’ll need: • 1 cup flour • 1/2 cup salt • 2 tbsp cream of tartar • 1 tbsp oil • 1/2 cup boiling water • Natural dyes 1.) Add the flour, salt, and cream of tartar to a bowl and mix well. 2.) For tea, add tea bags to the boiling water and let sit until you reach your desired color. More tea bags = deeper color! 3.) Add the oil to the mixture. Don’t mix yet! 4.) Pour the colored water on top and mix well. Mend with your hands once the play dough is cool enough to touch. *If it’s too watery, add a bit more flour. If it’s dry, add a bit more boiling water. *Wrap in plastic and place in an airtight container. Store at room temperature.
