Spiral Koru - The koru is a symbol of creation because of its fluid circular shape. Based on the unfurling fern frond of the native New Zealand silver fern.

INSEPARABLE: With a rough design in mind and a spare block of stone my aim was to create something with some movement and flow. I fell in love with my first curve and as I followed it to see where it took me the original design went out the window. I ended up with two distinct elements - the challenge was finding the connection, the balance and the flow. I used a lot of sharp lines, borders and edges to contrast with the flowing curves.
