Revelstoke Dam opens the floodgates... For the first time since 1997, BC Hydro has opened the flood gates and is spilling up to 42,000 cubic meters every second from the Revelstoke Reservoir. Revelstoke Dam is Canada's second generating project on the Columbia River and one of four dams in B.C. that regulate the flow of the Columbia.
