ELEPHANT MARCH – Put baseball in pantyhose leg. Put pantyhose on head. Knock over the bottles with said pantyhose/baseball combination~ but you can’t use your hands! Definitely have a camera on hand for this one. How to win: Slow and steady~ just like an elephant!
Get into classic camp mode with a twist on tug-of-war called Stumps. Two players stand on upside-down milk crates set 6 to 12 feet apart on soft ground. Players pull or relax a rope, trying to force the other to step off her crate. Strategy trumps strength: a hard tug can be neutralized by a loosened grip, and sudden slack can make the tugger teeter.
This activity done by the 504 BB group presenting friendship did an amazing job and also demonstrated how a few kind words can leave a class smiling and laughing with each other! The Friendship Web: Hold on to the end of the string and toss the ball of yarn from person to person. The person tossing the yarn says a nice thing about the person that they throw it to. Great experience for all ages :)
