Mumyo

Mumyo is a reimagining of Racine’s Britannicus set to buyo, a traditional Japanese dance style. Britannicus is the story of the Roman emperor Nero usurping the throne. Mumyo has the added meaning of delusion, one of the Buddhist four noble truths. Adaptation and Chorography by Yoshijiro Hanayagi. It was presented in 1985 on PBS.
