The Mended Nest: Mended Furniture -"I started by painting the whole dresser in ASCP Paris Grey & drawers (& sides of dresser) in Provence...added a border of Provence on the top of dresser. After applying a few coats, went over the whole thing with a mixture of French Linen & water, wiping excess with old shirt...allowed original color to bleed through with a washed/cloudy effect. After it dried, I distressed it a little and applied both clear and dark waxes to seal the paint."
