"Tarawera Falls" in the Bay of Plenty in the North Island of NZ. "Natural beauty is both universal & unique." (Chris Orwig) Universal in that it is ever present around us - unique in the way an individual perceives & responds.
“Winter Avenue” – Milbrook Resort, Arrowtown. Millbrook Resort, Queenstown is one of the leading golf & lifestyle resorts in Australasia. Whatever the season, the Millbrook Avenue welcomes visitors with an ‘aged grandeur’ seldom seen anywhere else in NZ.
"The Sanctuary" - Lake Wanaka, South Island, NZ. This popular year round destination is the home to a solitary tree in Roys Bay, presenting itself in many different guises depending on the seasons & the water levels of the lake. This tree is usually seen as an icon, less frequently as a safe haven - but for these birds the icon became a sanctuary - if only for the night.
“The Avenue at Stonebridge” - Dalefield, Wakatipu Basin, South Island. This tree-lined avenue serves as the entrance way to the exclusive rural enclave of Stonebridge. This is a favourite location of mine that I have visited many times over the years, as you never know for sure exactly how it will present itself with the changing of seasons.
